broken_glassNot again! The latest thrift-shop heist was last week in West Palm Beach, Florida. According to Channel 29: “Someone smashed the glass in the front door at the Adopt-A-Family Boutique and Thrift Store at 7637 South Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach about 4:30 Thursday morning. Once inside, they emptied the contents of two tip jars and then ran out the back door. The two jars contained a total of about $50 dollars that customers had donated to help low income families. The culprit didn’t take any merchandise from the store. But it cost $250 dollars to repair the smashed glass in the front door. They do not have surveillance cameras, so there’s no video of the crime.”
